It's never too late to become what you might have been. -George Elliot

Body - Last week sucked!!  I decided to run before class with my friend and coach and while I felt great during the run, during class I felt like I was going to black out a few times.  Other than that my body feels amazing!!!  I'm loving the definition in my arms and thighs, and can wear clothes I wasn't about to fit into a few months back, but I think it's interesting I don't see the difference when I look in the mirror.  Ummm...approximately how many weeks will that take??

Learning -  I need a therapy group or an intervention to change the way I think and feel about food.  It's the devil!!!  I need to eat to survive, but since I'm trying to cut out the bad stuff finding proper fuel is harder than I thought.  I'm getting tired of salads and baked chicken breasts and see why I give up getting well in the past.  I was talking with my friend who is doing weight watchers and her advice to me is you can have it all, but in moderation.  I think I'll look for a podcast or daily blog to help with this horrible situation.

Observations - I've noticed that I'm a lot stronger and have lots of energy throughout the day.  I'm knocking projects out at work and overall I'm noticing the changes in me mentally and physically.

Goals - One of my goals is to increase my mile time, which I'm working on before class.  During class I'm also trying to push during the cardio bursts, but I need to focus and do better in that area.  Another goal is to do boy push ups.  This goal is...progressing...lol!!

Set - My goals this week are to continue to run before class and focus on my diet, specifically education myself regarding properly fueling my body without adding more unnecessary calories but substance to make it through a work out without wanting to black out.

"In seeking happiness for others, you find it for yourself." ~Anonymous

Week 2 was amazing !!!!  My first week working out with the group after being on vacation and I'm more excited now than ever.  I'm excited everyday after work and the boot camp class has turned into the highlight of my day.  It's the only thing I take time out of schedule to do to please not, since the majority of my day consists of making sure everyone else is happy.  I've joined loads of gyms and worked out with personal trainers before, but I've never felt the feeling I feel with this boot camp group.  Special shout out to my coach Ashley for sitting down with me to go over my goals and not rushing me through the framework for the rest of my life.

Body - My body feels strong, healthy and craving more...more activity.  I tried to be a bump on a log on Saturday, but my body said no to that, so I went for a run.

Learning - I've learned I don't push myself as hard as I should by myself.  When I started running I was doing well, but got a little bored and started to walk when I know my body wasn't tired.  Regarding health, I learned I need to plan out my breakfast and lunch meals on Sunday nights for the rest of the week to prevent me from eating out and making poor decisions.

Observations - The only changes I noticed are is in my pants.  They aren't as snug as they use to be ;0)

Goals - I do need to get better at writing down what I eat (and not just the good stuff either).  I need to stop kidding myself and stop eating the crap that always sets me up to fail.  When I was meeting with my coach we said we are going to try to run to class together, so I want to make I commit to doing that.

Set - My goal this week is the plan out my meals tonight (Sunday) and go hard every time I'm working out.

Two weeks into the new framework for the rest of my life and I'm on a natural high I don't want to come down from.

It's Just the Beginning

I'm soooo excited about the bootcamp challenge, not only for the physical aspect but the mental transformation.  I'm over making the wrong choices and justifying it with unacceptable excuses.

My goals for the next 60 days are to:

1.  To decrease my weight by 10 pounds by the end of the challenge.

2.  To decrease my mile time by 1 minute (currently I'm running a sluggish 13+ minute mile)

3.  To eat healthy everyday of the week, not just Monday - Friday
